Designer's note
Designer's note
The "Michel GMT" offers a contemporary reinterpretation of a 1970s design. With a 40mm case blending elements of a tonneau and a cushion, it boasts intricate mirror polishing and a sunray radial brush. The generously sized dial incorporates various textures, featuring a radial brush in the center, a satin ring, and etched patterns on the outer ring. Large applied indexes and distinctive mountain-cut hands pay homage to 1970s timepieces, captivating light at different angles and creating an ever-changing aesthetic.
The GMT function aligns with the 24-hour scale, introducing a modern color palette. The Michel GMT becomes a unique and cherished accessory.

Production Timeline
At Tessé Watches, we trully believe that we have a great product, so we decided to finance most of the first production and unlike many Kickstarter projects that begin production after funding, the Michel GMT is already in motion.
✅ Prototypes Completed & Tested: The final design has been refined and perfected.
✅ Production Started: Our manufacturing partners have already begun working on the first batch of cases and dials.
✅ Movements: The first 100 Sellita SW330-2 movements are already in stock in our assembly workshop.
By taking this decision, we are doing away with the long lead times that accompany those critical points in the supply chain.
Backing this project means you’re securing a nearly finished luxury watch—without the uncertainty.
Watches are expected to ship in September 2025
