Designer's note

The Architect builds upon Tessé’s signature 1970s-inspired case — a balanced geometry between tonneau and cushion — while introducing a wholly new dial concept.

Constructed from 21 individual components, the dial is designed like a façade: layered, structured, and precise. At its heart are 13 BL10 lume blocks, each sculpted and applied to add both luminous depth and graphic clarity. These luminous elements bring the dial to life after dark, glowing like windows in a cityscape.

The surfaces alternate between matte and polished finishes, catching light across different planes while preserving legibility. The result is a dial that feels at once intricate and architectural, yet uncluttered and contemporary.

At its core, the Architect is powered by the ETA 2892 in elaborate grade — a movement renowned for its slim profile, refined finishing, and reliability. This choice ensures the watch remains both technically precise and visually balanced, allowing the layered dial to remain the focus.

Its bold color palette reinforces the Architect’s role as a watch that blends structure, light, and creativity.

Housed in a stainless steel case that measures 40mm across and a sleek 10.8mm in thickness, the Architect wears with refined comfort and presence. Its geometry — balanced between tonneau and cushion — reflects Tessé’s 1970s design inspiration, while alternating brushed and polished surfaces catch light across every angle. A double-domed sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective coating ensures clarity and durability, protecting the layered dial within. The result is a timepiece that feels architectural yet versatile, equally at home in bold color or in the minimalist restraint of the Michel Architect.

At the heart of the Architect is the ETA 2892-A2 in Elaboré grade — a Swiss automatic calibre celebrated for its slim profile and enduring reliability. Ticking at 28,800 bph (4Hz), it features 21 jewels and a 50-hour power reserve, balancing technical precision with refined finishing.
